XF-400 is a water-blocking compound specifically designed for filling optical fiber cable loose tubes at high line speeds.

Features:

XF-400 is a non-sticky, silicon-free water-blocking filling compound. It remains soft at -50 ºC and does not drip at 80 ºC. It is

thixotropic and suitable for cold filling process. It inhibits mold growth, has extremely low hydrogen generation, zero oil separation,

and has excellent antioxidant properties and long-term stability.

Compatibility

XF-400 has good compatibility with acrylic resin coated polymer materials of optical fiber and optical cable . However, we recommend that all polymer materials in contact with the ointment should be tested for compatibility while using.

Processing

XF-400 is designed for the cold filling process to avoid voids due to the shrinkage filling compound
