Polygel DL-500 is a gap-filling compound designed specifically for medium, high and extra high voltage AC and DC Bushings, including RIP and RIS Bushing types. It is also suitable for gap-filling applications in high-current Bushings.

Features:

Polygel DL-500 exhibits excellent electrical strength, low permittivity, low density and is non-draining,suitable for insulating high voltage bushings and insulators. Its dielectric constant remains virtually unchanged with temperature fluctuations, and it possesses an extremely low

coefficient of thermal expansion; it can fully replace high-end insulating materials such as silicone oils, silicone greases, and SF6 gas.

Feasibility

Polygel DL-500 is compatible with most polymers, silicone, copper conductors, ceramic housings andresins. However, it is recommended that compatibility tests are made with all materials likely to come intocontact with DL-500. Meanwhile, it can be pumped at ambient

conditions from packaging to application point, and does not require pre-heating.
